Since opening its doors in September 2006, The Rose has welcomed world-renowned artists, nurtured local talent, hosted milestone community celebrations and created memories shared across generations of Brampton residents. What began as a bold vision for downtown Brampton has grown into one of the city’s premier cultural destinations and a defining part of Brampton’s arts and culture scene.
The anniversary season is guided by the theme Roots. Blossom. Bloom., reflecting on where The Rose began, how it has evolved alongside Brampton and the future it continues to help shape.

As part of the celebration, The Rose will host 20 Years in Bloom on September 19, a free community event featuring live performances, backstage experiences, family activities, local artisans and special guests. The event will honour the artists, audiences, volunteers, donors, sponsors, staff and community partners whose passion, creativity and support have shaped The Rose’s story over the past two decades.
