The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has said that Yoga’s beauty is in it’s simplicity. He said that Yoga can be done at home, during work breaks or in a group. For Yoga anyone needs a Yoga mat and some empty space, he further added.

The Prime Minister in his tweets said; “Yoga’s beauty is in it’s simplicity. All you need is a Yoga mat and some empty space. Yoga can be done at home, during work breaks or in a group. 

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has also said that apart from Asanas, Yoga also consists of several breathing exercises which have many health benefits.

International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2022 will be the 8^th edition since 2015 when first IDY was celebrated globally. This year, Consulate General of India in Toronto has collaborated with various organizations to celebrate IDY and would like to extend the invitation to our valued community to participate in these events.
